Eurovision

Post by derekbroad »

I would never usually bother to watch this but I was out for a curry last night, turned the box on and started to watch it when I got home.
Saw the British entry, well, what can I say, last place, was it worth more? And Iceland............What????
Madonna? I´ve heard better Karaoke singers. She´s lost it.
And the 12 points goes to..................................... Who?...........................................WHO??? .......................................
FFS...................TELL US AND P... O..!!!!!!!!
I said I wouldn´t usually watch this nonsense and last night told me why.

It seems to have a cult following but I say it's the biggest pile of dog shit I've ever seen

I always thought Sir Terry Wogan made that show... his sarcasm was joyful.... I can’t believe that the UK still participates knowing that they will come last, again, buy happily spend a fortune in the process.

Yes, Wogan could tear it apart, in a nice way.

Why do we bother to compete, nobody in Europe is going to vote for us,
even if we did have the best Song !

The BBC still show it because it gets a huge audience and costs little (provided you don't have to host it by winning). Of course, the fact that we have no chance of winning means we will only ever be represented by non-entities who see it as their 15 minutes of fame.
