What are they?

Post by crummy »

I see the narrow little roads at the side of the main roads. Sometimes the mini roads just swoop across the main road.

Having looked very closely some have little pictures of bikes on them.
By experience they must mean "no bikes allowed" as I have never seen a bike on them. I expect the punishment for riding on them must be severe.

So what are they for?

Can't be.

I have seen loads of flocks of bikes avoiding them like the plague.. The bikeists fill up the main road and keep carefully off the mini lanes..

It must cost a fortune making and painting these little lanes so surely they must have a use?.

Cycle lanes normally have a bicycle on a blue background
No bicycles is a bike on a red background.
