I agree, I but doctors are not infallible. They too make mistakes.

There are many examples where parents have been told the child will not live so abort and parents ignore and the child survives.

I personally am now beyond what 2 consultants told me so they are not always right.

Cancer could possibly be treated as in the case of Ashya King but with Alfie it was brain damage and that at the moment is impossible to make better.
George wrote: Sun Apr 29, 2018 8:59 am I disagree. Why not let the parents try anything and everything possible.

Doctors don't always know best.

Remember Ashya King. Parents were refused by hospital, they kidnapped him, arrested etc etc.

Ashya King is now clear of cancer, no thanks to the the doctors and UK courts, but thanks to the parents who never gave up.

Strange the courts refuse everyone someone wants the right to die, yet ensure it happens in this case.

To me it wouldnt just be keeping him alive its his life, living in a vegative state unable to do anything to me it would have been very cruel, he is out of pain now x

I think that you either need to get yourself a pair of spectacles (or perhaps just better ones) or learn how to read and comprehend what is written.

barnsleylass is just agreeing with what I had written previously.
