Do you like tattoos?

Post by crummy »

They are not for me at all.

Bit sometimes I wonder what is going on in some peoples heads..

Can't stand them on men or women. What a waste of money.

Each to his/her own, Crummy but personally I abhor tattoos. For me it’s attention seeking. Why anyone would want to indelibly mark their body, I just cannot understand.

Not for me either.

My father had a couple done in Egypt during the war.

You could hardly see any detail as they just looked like blue blobs...

All these fancy tatts will probably look the same in a few years.

Not for me..

Limiting your prospects of employment,
I wouldn't employ people looking like that.
If you want one or two fine, but put them where you can cover them up.
The same as piercings, there is nothing more off-putting
Than a woman / girl with a ring through their nose.
Makes me want to tie a rope through it and lead them around like a bull.

Yes, a lady with a ring through her nose.

Do they not see the symbolism?

You could always get the lip fillers and look like a Trout,
And the Daisy the cow eye lashes.
Or even go the whole way, get a Brazilian Butt Lift 😁😁😁

Of course, skin expands, dries out, wrinkles and the tattoo goes with it. I suppose many people will spend their latter years wondering why on earth they were so stupid as to scar their bodies.

I think there will be a booming industry of tattoo removals in a few years time.

In my day we had fashions.. flares, long hair, no hair, drainpipes, frilly cuffs and shirts, platform shoes. ... but none were permanent... but now?

Maybe for the smaller ones but more and more people are going for the full sleeve - I don't think you could do much with that.
