Changing small coins

Post by Chrisdee »

I've always saved loose change and every now and again take it to the bank in those little sleeves and it then goes into our bank account. About a year ago I took all the sleeves into the bank and they told me there's no need to do that now. You just count it and put it into one of their large plastic bags, they send it off, count it and credit your account. So this week I went to the bank to get a new plastic bag and asked what day I can take it in there. Previously it was only a Wednesday!! They told me it can be done any day of the week but there is now a 7 euro charge for it. Bleeding cheek. They already rob us of something like 48 euros maintainance for our debit cards. I almost shoved the new plastic bag where the sun don't shine.

Stuff em in Al Campos automatic machines.
Or give it to the rough sleepers.
You won't miss it and they'll appreciate it.

I give enough to rough sleepers and charities. Alcampo sounds like a good idea. Waiting to see if Sabatel charge if not dad can put it through his account

You surprise me ebr, have you only just found out what robbing bar stewards the Spanish banks are ?
They have been charging me for my dead wife's account for the last five years,
Even though it has been frozen ! They have had over €1000 what was left in there.
I only knew when they started adding the charges to MY account, when hers was empty !
